Platform requirements

The files can be unpacked and used on any system that supports "zip" and has a C++ compiler. IBM uses these files on a BlueGene front-end node, currently an IBM pSeries running SLES9 Linux from Novell.

Installation instructions

Simply use a "zip" utility to unpack the files.

Look through the included files and documentation to see what you can integrate with your application.

Note: When you build and use your application with these functions, you must satisfy yourself that the restrictions and approximations do not inhibit your application from producing results that are acceptable according to your requirements; and you should use performance-testing tools to verify that you are obtaining your "entitlement."
