Starter Toolkit for DB2 on Rails

Operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003; Linux and Linux on POWER

Software (for use on Linux): DB2 Express-C 9 for Linux

On Windows:

Download and run DB2onRails_V2.1_Win32.exe. Make sure that you have enough free disk space to hold this file.
When prompted, specify the subdirectory in which all of the installation files should be extracted. Make sure that 380 MB of free disk space is available.
The installer will run automatically. (The installer is the setup.exe file in the subdirectory in which installation files were extracted.)

On Linux:

In order to build the DB2 Ruby driver and DB2 Rails Adapter, download DB2onRails_V2.1_Source.tar.gz and follow the instructions in README.txt.
