Installation instructions

  1. Download the tool packages.
  2. Extract VisualAnalyzer.zip into a directory on your local machine.
  3. Extract DCC.zip into a directory on your Linux system.
  4. Extract Driver.zip into the same directory if you want to monitor and analyze OS/hardware behaviors.
  5. Run the install.sh file found in the bin directory in your installation directory on Linux. This action will install the DCC agent library (as well as the driver, if chosen).
  6. Run your Java application using the following command:
    java -agentlib:$THORDIR/lib/ThorAgent
  7. Download the trace file generated to your local directory (default extension is .trace).
  8. Find the executable file named THOR.exe under your Visual Analyzer installation directory, and open the trace file.
