Platform requirements
Operating systems:
- For WebSphere Business Monitor data servers: Windows®, AIX®, Red Hat, SuSE, or HP
- For plug-in on Lotus Notes® 8 or Sametime® Instant Messenger 7.5.x: Windows
Software:
- WebSphere® Business Monitor
- Either Lotus Notes 8 or Sametime Instant Messenger 7.5.x
Installation instructions
For Lotus Notes 8:
- Download the plugin4WBM.zip file.
- Go to File > Application > Install.
- Select Search for new features to install.
- Click on Add Zip/Jar Location... and select the plugin4WBM.zip file.
- Verify the information in the pop-up window and click on OK.
- Click on Finish.
- After the updater returns, select the latest version of the WebSphere Business Monitor Sametime Plug-in. Accept all prompts; then the installer will begin.
- Notes will prompt you to restart. After you restart, go to File > Preferences > WebSphere Business Monitor and, if necessary, update the target REST host and security information.
- Return to your view of choice and click on Refresh or Personalize. You will now have a working dashboard inside Lotus Notes.
- Download the plugin4WBM.zip file and unzip the file.
- Go to Tools > Plugins > Install Plugins.
- Select Search for new features to install.
- Click on Add Archived Location... and select the directory in which you unzipped plugin4WBM.zip.
- Click on Finish.
- After the updater returns, select the latest version of the WebSphere Business Monitor Sametime Plug-in. Accept all prompts; then the installer will begin.
- Notes will prompt you to restart. After you restart, go to File > Preferences > WebSphere Business Monitor and, if necessary, update the target REST host and security information.
- Return to your view of choice and click on Refresh or Personalize. You will now have a working dashboard inside Lotus Notes.
