1. I am getting an exception at the bottom of the plug-in: "A communication exception has occurred. See the log for more details." What does this mean?
This exception means that you are not connecting to the Monitor REST server. You need to check your REST services target host, REST user name, and REST password. Other possible causes are firewall problems or Internet connectivity problems.
2. Where can I adjust the preferences?
Go to File > Preferences; then select WebSphere® Business Monitor from the lefthand navigation list.
3. I have installed the plug-in in Lotus Notes® 8, but it is not showing up in the side panels.
Make sure that the plug-in is selected to be displayed. Go to View > Sidebar Panels and make sure that WebSphere Business Monitor Sametime® Plug-in has a check mark next to it.
4. How do I uninstall the plug-in?
- Go to File > Application > Application Management.
- Open the tab that looks something like "C:\lotus\notes\data\workspace\application\eclipse" (it will vary depending on your Notes/Sametime installation directory).
- Select WebSphere Business Monitor Sametime Plug-in
- Click on Uninstall in the righthand panel.
