About the technology author(s):
Frank Suits is a research staff member in the Computational Biology Center at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center. He is currently involved in molecular dynamics algorithms and analysis related to scalable systems. Over the years he has been involved in a range of research areas, including nonlinear optics, magnetic storage, and scientific visualization.

Donna Gresh is a research staff member in the Visual Technologies department at IBM's T. J. Watson Research Center. She has worked on several visualization projects, including protein simulations, foreign currency exchange options, heart simulations, and the development of tools for facilitating the combination of different visualization techniques in a single application.

PPV includes a surface view feature that relies on the SURF code provided by Amitabh Varshney, Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science (4407 A. V.
