Industry Formats and Services with pureXML

A demonstration of end-to-end XML data exchange with a DB2 9 pureXML database, retrieval through RESTful generic Web services, and user interaction provided through Atom feeds and XForms-capable browsers.

Platform requirements for the downloads

Operating systems: Windows® and UNIX®

Software: DB2® 9 with pureXML®

Installation instructions for the downloads

  1. Download and unpack the desired .zip file (for example, mismo.zip). On Linux, use unzip -a -aa [industry_name].zip to unpack the file ([industry_name] represents the name of the bundle you just downloaded). For example: unzip -a -aa mismo.zip. A subdirectory with the name of the downloaded bundle (for example, mismo) will be created.
  2. In order to start the sample, execute start.bat on Windows or start.sh on Linux; both files are located in the subdirectory created in Step 1.
