Software Configuration and Library Management (SCLM) Productivity Tools

A set of tools that assist, in addition to the official IBM product offerings, with the administration and maintainance of IBM SCLM project definitions, the development of tools, and the creation and archiving of documentation.

Platform requirements

Operating systems:

  • IBM zOS 1.1 or above
  • IBM OS/390 2.6 or above (previous releases not tested)

Other: You must have rights for at least one high-level qualifier to create, modify, and delete datasets, including VSAM files (ALTER rights).

Installation instructions

  1. Download the appropriate zip file.
  2. Unzip the file into a temporary directory (such as c:\temp).
  3. Read readme.txt for exact and updated information.
  4. Upload the two binary files to your host system (using FTP, Personal Communications, etc.).
  5. Follow the installation instructions within readme.txt on the host side.
