SOAP for CICS
A tool that allows integration with SOAP messaging to new and existing CICS Transaction Server applications.

This technology has graduated.
SOAP for CICS has become the SOAP for CICS Feature for CICS Transaction Server (TS) 2.2 and 2.3; its capabilities are also included in CICS TS 3.1.
The SOAP for CICS SupportPac CA1M for use with CICS TS 1.3 and 2.2 was a technology preview and is not supported for production use.
CICS TS 1.3 customers are advised to do one of the following:
- migrate to CICS TS 2.3 and the SOAP for CICS Feature
- migrate to CICS TS 3.1.
CICS TS 2.2 and 2.3 customers are advised to do one of the following:
- use the SOAP for CICS Feature, which is supported in production and provides more features than the SupportPac CA1M
- migrate to CICS TS 3.1, which provides Web services support as part of the base product and is more advanced than the SOAP for CICS Feature.
CICS TS 3.1 customers are advised to use the Web services facilities included in 3.1.
