Operating systems: Windows®, Linux®, or any other system that meets the software requirements below.

Software: Perl 5 (not pre-installed on Master Console, but can be obtained from, for example, ActiveState)

Other: An SSH command line interface must be available, either through PuTTy (plink) or OpenSSH.

Installation instructions

Full installation instructions, including how to obtain and install Perl, are provided in the included README.txt file.

An overview of the necessary steps:

  1. Ensure that the ssh/plink command is available in the PATH.
  2. If installing on the Master Console, install Perl (available from ActiveState).
  3. Copy the SVC.pm file to a location suitable for access by Perl. This location will vary, depending on the operating system.
