Web Services for DB2 Intelligent Miner

A collection of Web services that allow clients to describe and perform basic data-mining tasks using XML, XML Schema, and XPath on top of DB2 Intelligent Miner.

Platform requirements

Hardware:

Memory: 512 MB recommended (256 MB minimum)
Hard disk: 50 MB

Software and Java^TM tools:

Java 2 Software Development Kit 1.3.1
IBM WebSphere Application Server 5.1

OR

Apache Tomcat 4.1. (The technology was tested with version 4.1.29; this version is recommended for avoiding installation problems.)

IBM DB2 8.1
IBM DB2 Intelligent Miner Modeling and Scoring 8.1

Installation instructions

Download the ws4im.zip file.
Extract the files into the folder ws4im.
Change to the folder doc and refer to Installation Manual for IBM WebSphere Application Server.doc or Installation Manual for Apache Tomcat.doc for detailed installation instructions.
